Action PC! FootballThe anticipation of our 28th league season sees us currently wheeling and dealing, with off-season trading leading up to our annual draft the fourth Sunday in August.
Action Game Plan Draft League asks the Owner of each franchise to be General Manager, Head Coach, and Play Caller.
As General Manager, our annual draft allows us the opportunity to draft up 10 players every year, plus four supplements. After the draft, we assign contracts to each player drafted for a term of between 1 and 5 years. Action! PC Football gives us the ability not just to draft skill players, but, every player on our roster, from offensive linemen, to defense, to kickers and punters and holders and special teams specialists. Action! PC clearly isn’t fantasy football. Most accurately, Action! PC is reality football.
The Draft
In Action Game Plan Draft League, we do not have an annual salary cap. Instead each franchise begins with the same amount of money before the draft each year. The effect is that whatever attrition in player availability once drafted do to real-life player injury, or whether a player is cut or retires before a contract is complete, leaves Owners fending in a survival of the fittest from year to year.
The general Manger’s role in Action Game Plan Draft League is all important. Knowledge of football talent is constantly put to the test from draft to draft.
When the NFL season begins in September, the franchise Owner and General Manager become head Coach and Play Caller, and we start our league schedule, which consists of 14 head to head games.

We have a ten day “week” to play one complete game on the internet (usually 60 to 90 minutes) with our opponent Coach. Our team’s players perform based on their stats from the immediately preceding NFL season. Strategy becomes important as teams try to take advantage of mismatches with our weekly opponent.
After our season is complete, Action Game Plan Draft League fields a competitive playoff among our top five teams which culminates in our annual Salt Bowl.
